My name is Guoruihong , English name is Joy . I'm a new learner . But I'm not young . I'm thirty three years old. I'm from Heibei province I'm agovernment employee , working in a government organization . My job isneither busy nor tired . I have more free time to study .

I waked up very early , about at half past four .Then I can’t sleep , I thought how to graduate from Beijing Foreign Studies University . It’s not very easy . Because the workload is large and heavy . I have a lot of assignments and reading to do .

I find a good way to study , that’s write diary in English everyday or twice a week , using new words and expressions . I think it’s a good approach .

1）wake up 的过去时态是 woke up
2) workload 程度副词应该是 high 和 low
3) 'though ... but' is a typical mistake, please pay special attention! You sentence should be "Although ..., ...."
4) 遵循计划可以用动词 follow 代替你用的 do

李晨:非常感谢你的指点,我的自我介绍经你这么一改,确实变得很流畅,我应该试着用这些连词,可我的词汇量太小了,现在学习<强化阅读>这门课程觉得有点吃力,我以前记单词都是记汉语的解释,只看看英语解释,现在看来必须改一改了.否则的话,就学不好英语.

Ms. Guo, 强化阅读课程的内容无疑是很难的，因为它的取材广泛，语料真实，直接导致了其阅读难度的提高和单词量的增大。但是你无需害怕，因为与其高难度相对立的是其考试的低难度，你应该把学习重点放在训练阅读速度上而非记忆单词！
此外，每个单元的 Self-assessment 之前有一个本单元单词和短语的总结，你若能在考试前把它们都过一遍，争取都能认识就可以了，不需要记忆其复杂的拼写。你自己掌握的英语词汇是分类的，能说和写的词汇实际上是不多的，最多的就是这种能认识但不会拼写甚至不会念的词汇，所以，要放松一点，享受英语学习吧。欢迎你常常提出问题！

1、when lots of housework awaiting my attention 这个句子中谁是谓语。
2、I can’t help but think of my three-year-old son whom I love so much这句的 year不用加s 吗？这句确切的意思是什么？
3、I have been practicing it for twelve years and I am a Shadow-boxing teacher now.这句为什么不用practising ,而用practicing 。我查了字典，practice 这是个名词啊。

I can't help but cry.我忍不住哭了。
2) 描述一个人年龄时，比如此人3岁，可以说 She is three years old. 也可以用连字符“-”连接起来组成复合词，即 She is three-year-old.

“I think this job is better than before . ” 这句话的“than before”是赘词，可删去。
“I have a office of my own ,where there is a desk ,a chair and a bed ,it’s a quiet cozy place ,and very comfortable to study .”可修改为 -- “I have a private office which is equipped with a desk, a chair and a bed. It is quite a cozy place to work and study in. ”

这里的意思要看上下文，转到生物系的学生Linus与生物系的Paul之间有了一段对话，对话相当informal，很像电影里的一段对白。
Scary, or something like that? -- 显然是询问关于教授的信息，就是说Linus询问Paul，这个走过来的教授的名字（昵称）又是什么样的，很可怕吗？
