《中国应用语言学》是中国英语教学研究会的会刊,由外语教学与研究出版社和英国使馆文化教育处联合出版,是国内唯一的一本刊登用英语写成的有关中国应用语言学(特别是英语教学理论与实践)研究论文的外语类学术期刊。本刊为双月刊,76开本,每期128页。本刊主编由北京外国语大学中国外语教育研究中心主任文秋芳教授和英国使馆文化教育处Grahame T.Bilbow教授共同担任。本刊主要栏目有教学法、二语习得、语言测试与评估、语言政策、课程设计与教材评估、教师发展、跨文化交际、专门用途英语、词典与教学、外语专业各科教学(如语言学、翻译、文学教学等)、科研方法、书评与文评、会议综述等栏目。
    《中国应用语言学》为现代语言学会国际书目入选期刊，中国学术期刊网络出版总库入选期刊，EBSCO期刊全文数据库。2010外语网络教育研讨会遴选的优秀论文曾于2012年1在《中国应用语言学》发表。2012计算机辅助外语教学国际研讨会遴选的优秀论文也将于2013年发表，请各位参会者仔细阅读注意事项并踊跃投稿！

• 稿件需一律按照期刊要求撰写，作者需保证论文为原创，且为首次发表。
• 稿件要求
  论文格式以APA格式为基础，但又略有不同，请投稿者注意。
  一、投稿要求和正文格式：
  　1. 本刊只接受网上在线投稿，不接受纸质稿件和通过电子邮件投稿。
  2. 本刊采用双盲同行专家匿名制评审制，论文正文中不要出现作者姓名和工作单位等个人信息。
  3. 论文正文中要有中文提要（200字）、英文提要（100词）以及3—5个中英文关键词。
  4. 文中小标题必须标序号，请用阿拉伯数字表示，不要用罗马数字表示。
  5. 文中表格为不封口的三线表，即上面两条线，底边一条线。
  6. 凡正文中出现的文献必须列在文后参考文献中；文后参考参考文献中列出的文献必须在正文中引用，正文中未引用的文献不得列在文后参考文献中。
  7. 正文中无论是间接引用还是直接引用文献，都要给出文献页码。例：（Hu, 2006：15-21）。如果对文献的转述需参考该书多个章节，可不加页码。直接引用必须加双引号，间接引用和转述不加引号。
  8. 转引格式如下：Peterson (as cited in Samovar & Porter, 1997: 3) states that language involves attaching meaning to …
  9. 正文中用到汉字时，需注明拼音和英文释义。
  10. 研究设计中的时态一般是过去时。

Chinese Journal of Applied Linguistics is the journal of China English Language Education Association, The Chinese affiliate of AILA (International Association of Applied Linguistics). It’s the only English language journal in China in the area of applied linguistics. It was inaugurated in 1978 as ELT Newsletter. A Special Issue on GLoCALL 2012 will be published in 2013. Paper submission deadline will be on March.1st, 2013.
The journal was co-published by Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press and Cultural and Education Section of the British Embassy. A new international edition of the journal has been launched from the year 2011 by De Gruyter Mouton, Germany. The journal is co-edited by Prof. Wen Qiufang, Director of National Research Centre for Foreign Language Education, Beijing Foreign Studies University and Prof. Grahame T Bilbow, first secretary of the Cultural and Education Section of the British Embassy to China.

Contribution Requirements
1. Review Papers: 8,000-10,000 words with over 50 references.
2. Empirical Papers: 6,000-8,000 with over 20 references.
3. Teaching-Practice Papers: 4,000-6,000 with over 20 references.
