1. Understanding how grammar helps to create meaning in context.
  
1) Observe how the past perfect is used. Discuss how it contrasts with the simple past.
  
(1) I felt I was a stranger who had lost his way. (para.8)

    moments I made many friends and fell in love with many girls. I had 
    never imagined school would have this rich variety of experiences.

2) Observe the use of “would ”.Discuss its meaning in the context in which it is used.
