● Attendance: Students are expected to attend every class. If unable to a class, students should notify the lecturer concerned in advance. Repeated absence will negatively affect the final score (up to 5 points).
● Participation: Students are encouraged to participate extensively in all class discussions and activities both as a speaker and as a listener. They are expected to prepare for the text—and to reflect on it—prior to class; to complete all assignments on schedule; to be a responsible member of both small and large groups; and to interact with others actively and frequently. The lecturer shall rate their performance on a 5-point system: 5 Excellent, 4 Satisfactory, 3 Marginal, 2 Weak, 1 Poor. |
