- Would you please file these documents for me?(你可以帮我把这些文件归下类吗?)
《白领英语900句》:File…according to their dates按…… File the reports in alphabetical order.(请将报告按字母顺序归档)I will keep the documents in each file in chronological order.(我会按年月日规档。)
- You did say next Tuesday at 2:00 P.M., didn't you?(您是说在下星期二下午2点,是不是?)
- Yes, I know.(是,我知道了)
I’ll get to work on it at once.(好的马上去做),美国人常挂在嘴边的是:“I’ll be right there.”对上司说OK,或 all right并不恰当。 I'm sorry, but I'm busy now. Could I do it later?
- Sorry to put you back to work.
My watch is fast; it needs putting back five minutes.(我的手表走快了,需要拨回5分钟。)
I’ll see that it’s sent off.
《白领英语900句》:see 作see (to it) that 保证使…… 例如I’ll see that the package are sent off.
It’s my pleasure.
当老板为了感激你他会说:“Thank you very much for what you have done for me and I really appreciate your kindness. 有很多中国人按照我们中文习惯“这是我应该做的”回答:“This is my duty to do so.”
