An Analysis of the Difficulties Encountered by Students in Online Learning.

This paper is going to study the difficulties that students meet in online learning specifically in Beiwai online system. It will collect the relevant information and data from questionnaires distributed to the students. The questions will include the following: “what are the difficulties in your online learning? How often do your interact with the tutors? What are your suggestions to Beiwai online, etc” Hopefully through the investigation based on the surveys, the author can achieve the following goals .

1. Have a better understanding about the difficulties that frustrate the students.

2. Find the causes of the difficulties that students meet in the learning process

3. Then try to find practical ways to solve them by recommending students some methods.

To achieve these goals, the author will analyze the problems with the theories of both distance learning and second language acquisition ,then try to find the solutions to solve problems and also recommend more useful methods to enhance the effectiveness of online learning. Hopefully through the efforts of teachers, students and the staff at the headquarters, the difficulties encountered by the students in distance learning can be reduced to the minimum.
