Ladies and gentlemen,

I have spent a long time waiting for this moment and it's a great honor for me to have the chance to give a speech today. First of all, I'd like to thank the leaders and tutors of Beiwaionline and each tutorial center for giving us such an unforgettable experience over the past four years.

Four years, it seems like a short period of everyone’s life. But for our Beiwaionline learners, it hasn’t been very easy for us. Like most of you here, I had a busy job every day for most of the time.And because of work, I was not able to attend the tutorial on time on many occasions, and even sometimes I was unable to hand in my homework & study record card. At the beginning of the two semesters, I felt very unhappy with my overall time management, but later on, little by little; I learned to use the flexibility of the e-learning platform to manage my own time more easily. Then I realized why it is called “many roles in one” and I learned how to be “A whole person”.The “time management” skill is also one of my major gains besides the improvement in my level of English.

I’d like to thank Beiwaionline for building such an excellent E-learning platform for us. I think Beiwaionline has built a terrific model for distance education, as a new & developing educational method. It will become one of the most popular ones in the next few years. I also believe that as the time goes by, Beiwaionline will do it even better in the future.

Beiwai online’s 4 years study has greatly improved my English level. Through the online tutorials, my pronunciation was successfully corrected, and through the face-to-face tutorials, I felt that with the help from my tutors & classmates, my oral English was improving rapidly. In those times, I was able to predict that these would be the treasures for my personal career development.

During the 4 years study, I experienced failure in job interviews a number of times. It was not because I didn’t have enough experience or ability or professional skills. The major reason for the failures was “not having a qualified degree”.Although the result was cruel,I was not depressed by it; on the contrary it made my will grow stronger and stronger to get the degree at Beiwaionline.

In May, 2006, in a month that I can never forget, when I found that my thesis was passed with an excellent score, that time, I knew for sure that a better career was beckoning to me ----- and the facts proved that I was correct. Soon after that, I successfully passed the interview with a famous American company which was listed in the top 10 in the world of the fortune 500, and I truly believe that the English skills I gained from Beiwaionline will help me to progress along a successful career path with this multinational cooperation.

I’ll say, today, that what we got from Beiwaionline is not only a degree, it is also a kind of spirit of persistence, a seed of success. Today, we celebrate our BA degree here; tomorrow we’ll celebrate the harvest of everyone’s life in the coming beautiful Autumns.
