Ladies and gentlemen,
My name is Lu Jinli coming from the Beijing learning center (2003, autumn semester). I feel highly honored at being given the opportunity to give this speech on behalf of all the graduates. And it’s just amazing to share with all of you, my dear fellow “Beiwaionliners”, the great joy of our accomplishment.
Looking back on all those tough moments when we immersed ourselves in our course books but with our family left out, looking back to all those weekends when we were on the way to our tutorials but the others were still in their beds, looking back at all the hardships of becoming a “whole person”, I think all of us here deserve a big round of applause. So for achieving success through our unremitting efforts, everyone, let’s give ourselves a big hand!
Next, I would like to make a low bow to all the honored guests here sitting on the rostrum. You are the representatives of all of our teachers. And the teachers’ kindness is memorable.
Unforgettable, every tutor. Without their instruction on those key learning points, we could hardly have finished our professional learning successfully. And their impressive professional attitude and approach will surely be a lifelong benefit to us. Unforgettable those detailed online learning resources, without whose solid support, it would have been impossible for us, multi-pressured social learners, to finish our tough learning course smoothly. Unforgettable every unknown office-staff, their timely reminders on those trifling things always helping us at the last minute.
No words can fully express my deep gratitude. Thank you, “Beiwaionline”, for giving us the chance to taste hardships, success and happiness. Please believe us, Alma Mater! We will win honors for you with our excellent performances in the future.
