Prof. Gu Yueguo

M. A. (with Distinction, Lancaster University, UK), Ph.D. (Lancaster  University, UK)
He is presently a research professor of linguistics, and head of the Contemporary Linguistics Department,
the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. He is also Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Beijing Foreign Studies University, and Dean of the Institute of Online Education and Guest Professor of the University of Nottingham.
His research interests include pragmatics, discourse analysis, corpus linguistics, rhetoric
, the philosophy of language and online education.

Prof. Norman Pritchard

He is the media Production Consultant BeiwaiOnline.He has also worked in China for CCRTVU and in 13 other countries around the world.
His interests are the in production of audiovisual material for distance education.

Visiting research scholar (Purdue University, USA), M.A., B.A.

She is presently an associate professor of linguistics and deputy dean of the Institute of Online Education, Beijing Foreign Studies University. She was at Purdue University, USA from 2001 to 2002 to be as a Visiting research scholar.

Her research interests include linguistics, English literature, online education and so on.

Associate Professor: Cao Wen

CPPCC member, M.A.(Manchester University, UK),B.A.(BFSU)

She majors in distance education and is deputy dean of the Institute of Online Education. She formed a connection with distance education from 1993 when Beijing Foreign Studies University and British council developed self-study series for Radio and Television University in China. In 2000 years, She worked as a research fellow in National Research Center for Foreign Language Education. Now, Professor Cao Wen has been working in the Institute of Online Education, Beijing Foreign Studies University for 4 years , being charge of resources development.

Associate Professor: Tang Jinlan

Visiting research scholar (Nottingham University, UK),M.A.(BFSU)

She is now an assistant to the dean and head of Testing Center in the Institute of Online Education, Beijing Foreign Studies University.

Her research interests include online education, language testing, learning strategy, reading and so on.

Jean Richen

Graduated from the School of Management of Paris, Jean Richen has been in charge of the marketing strategy for several companies mainly in the education sector. Since 7 years, Jean Richen has defined the marketing and followed the pedagogical evolution of the TELL ME MORE® method.

Thanks to the relationship with the major educational actor, Jean Richen has integrated the new pedagogical concept of foreign language training in Auralog's eLearning Solution.
