内容简介如下:

March 8th
Here we will discuss American culture, and how it came to be that way.  We will also discuss ways in which it is similar to Chinese culture, ways it is much different, and how it is to live there.  We will also discuss recent cultural divisions within the U.S.

March 15th
This will be a brief overview of American history from when Columbus first sailed to the "New World" to  what is going on today and in today's politics.

March 22th
Here we will discuss the history of Democracy and what are the advantages and actual disadvantages of having a "Democratic system".  This is not to just glorify the West, but to also point out that surprisingly there are actually some advantages to some other types of governments, including the one here in China.

March 29th
Here we will discuss the music industry, especially in the West, and how modern technology helped make it a booming success and how now modern technology is actually adversely affecting the industry.  We will also discuss cultural changes that have happened as a result.

April 5th
This is one of the most rapidly changing and exciting fields of research in the world today.  Literally every year, with new technologies and new discoveries,  scientists are now reshaping their opinions about how man came to exist in all the remote corners of the Earth.  We will discuss previous theories and what are some of the more recent theories, as well as some of the extreme theories people like to propose as a possibility.

April 12th
"UFO's" stand for "Unidentified Flying Objects".  Here we will discuss the possibility of life on other planets and what it would really take for life forms to travel from one planetary system to another.  We will also discuss some possible explanations for some recent UFO sightings in the world.

April 19th
The world is changing and one area that it is perhaps changing most, is how it is now trying to move away from its dependency on fossil fuels.  We will discuss how oil became the "new black gold", and what the future might be like without using fossil fuels.

April 26th
Here we will discuss a formal proposal I once submitted to a US Congresswoman, with the help of some engineers who studied the project, to transform the Nile River Delta area into one of the largest food-producing "bread-baskets" in the world.  We will compare it to other such projects and how that might work to prevent starvation in Africa in the future.

May 3th
Here we will discuss the "new history" proposed by some noted new and popular historians and what are some of the glaring flaws in their recent proposals and how many of these types of "historians" are really just charlatans trying to make a lot of money by selling a book.

May 10th
Here we will discuss how religion came to be and how it became such an integral part of literally every human culture in history.  We will not debate about which is true, or not, or which is the best one.  We will simply discuss it objectively and consider this with human history and recent scientific discoveries.

May 17th
Baseball is the greatest of all sports that originated from America.  Efforts have been made over the last 100 years to expand the sport world-wide and it is now a quite popular professional sport in such neighboring countries as Japan and South Korea.  There are even now some players from Taiwan participating as professional players in the US game.  The potential for the promotion of this sport is huge in China, and a lot of people here don't really understand its allure.  Here I will discuss its nuances and what makes it a special sport.
